Margaret Coel was born in Colo. in 1937. She attended Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis. and lived in Alaska before returning to Colo. Coel has worked as a reporter for the Boulder Daily Camera, Westminster Journal and the Milwaukee Tribune. She has written both fiction and non-fiction and is well known for her Wind River mystery series.
